This explains how to configure the IP address of NETIMPRESS Accorde
Programmer unit (AFX210) using a YCM file.
(1) Create a YCM file beforehand.
The file extension should be .YCM, and the filename can be anything (e.g., ETHER_SET.YCM).
(2) Copy the YCM file to the root directory of the SD card.
Only one YCM file should be placed there.
(3) Insert the SD card into the programmer unit and perform the following steps to configure the settings.
●Configuration Procedure/Constraints
- Pressing [EXT1] Key on the front panel during the 10 seconds while the RDY LED is blinking after power-on will apply the settings from the YCM file.
- Pressing [QUIT] Key will not apply the settings.
- If [SET]/[EXT1]/[QUIT] Key is not pressed during the 10 seconds while the RDY LED is blinking,
a timeout will occur, and the settings will not be applied.
* When the maintenance unit (AFX230) is connected, you can use the same button operations as the AFX100 ([EXT1] or [SET] to apply settings, [QUIT] to cancel).
* The 10-second timeout is still active even when the AFX230 is connected.
* If the settings are already the same as the YCM file, it will start without a 10-second waiting period.
(The AFX100 does not have a 10-second timeout.)
* The following is an example of a YCM file:
| [ETHER NET] ADDRESS=192.168.0.1 PORT=1000 SUBNET MASK=255.255.255.0 GATEWAY=0.0.0.0 |
* Settings
* Set the IP address to (e.g.) 192.168.0.1.
* Port number: Normally, set it to 1000.
* Subnet Mask: This depends on your network configuration, but if you're unsure what to set, please set it to 255.255.255.0.
* Default Gateway: This is usually not used, so 0.0.0.0 is fine.
* Conditions for using the YCM file:
The AFX210 firmware must be Ver 17.34 or higher.
(This can be checked from the Version tab on the SWX600.)
