From the displayed list of available products, download the applicable software product.
(Example of software product: For SMX600/N, the installer will be named something like "SMX600_Installer_VER112.exe".)
2. Installing the Product
Launch the downloaded installer to install the microVIEW-Xross debugger environment on your host PC. Please follow the on-screen instructions of the installer to complete the installation.
3. Placing the License File
Place the license file (with a .lic extension) that you received via email attachment into an appropriate folder. (Example: C:\DTSinsight\License)
4. Connecting the Dongle or ICE Main Unit to the Host PC
Connect the dongle or the ICE main unit—which holds the MAC address bound to the license—to your host PC.
If you connect the ICE main unit, turn on its power. If driver installation is required, please follow the instructions provided by the standard Windows installer. Note: If your license is authenticated using the host PC's MAC address, no dongle or external device is required.
5. Launching License Administrator for YDC (LAY)
Launch License Administrator for YDC (LAY) from the following path:
[Start Menu] > [DTSinsight] > [License Administrator for YDC]
6. Registering the License Folder
Click the [Add] button and register the folder where you placed your license file into License Administrator for YDC (LAY).
Note: License Administrator for YDC (LAY) is only used to register the license file path and to check the license authentication status. You do not need to launch LAY every time you start the microVIEW-Xross debugger.
