●Symptoms
When attempting to configure the IP address using the SWX680 IP Address Configuration Tool (IPEditor for AFX200) and clicking the "Set" button, the configuration fails. The ping test fails.
The following message is displayed:
Destination host unreachable.
There is a problem communicating over IP (maybe just ICMP).
●Solution
Configure the PC’s LAN port to use a single connection dedicated solely to the writer, then run the SWX680 and configure the IP address.

●Cause
The SWX680 rewrites the IP address associated with the specified MAC address.
If the PC has multiple LAN ports in use, communication to the target MAC address cannot reach its destination, resulting in a "Destination host unreachable" error.
While the configuration may occasionally succeed by chance, the success rate becomes unstable if repeated
multiple times.
If your PC has multiple LAN ports, disconnect all LAN cables except the one used for communication
with the writer before performing the configuration.
Note that this applies only when configuring the IP address on the SWX680; when running the SWX600
or other applications, you may connect via multiple LAN connections.
