Error Occurrence Conditions
1. When the microcontroller has “programming prohibited” security set,
and the PROGRAM command or the ERASE command or EPR command specifying part of the flash memory is executed.
→ If the EPR command targets the entire flash memory area, it is possible to reprogramming after erasing
the entire area and performing a configuration clear. (The security settings after programming depend on the YDD file settings.)
*In RH850 series microcontrollers, if the "write-protect" security setting is enabled, block erasure will also be prohibited. (Except when erasing the entire memory area.)
2. When the microcontroller has “erase prohibited” security settings, and the ERASE command, PROGRAM command, or EPR command is executed.
→ There is no workaround (erasing or programming with the programmer is not possible).
※ If reprogramming is required during the programming process, do not set the erase prohibited security setting during programming.
3. When the microcontroller has “read prohibited”security enabled, executing the COPY command.
→ No workaround available (data cannot be read from the writer.)
※ The READ command uses a retransmission verification method (the programmer sends verification data, which is then checked by the microcontroller),
so data is not read from the microcontroller, making execution possible.
4.Erase and Program operations were performed on blocks configured as OTP.
*If OTP was configured during the initial programming to a blank device, it is not possible to reprogram with the same settings.
→Please execute EPR excluding the blocks configured as OTP from the device function execution target.
