BCR CLEN ERR is an error that occurs when the current supplied from the barcode interface (BCR) for barcode reader operation exceeds the rated current.
If the power for the barcode reader is supplied from the AF430/AFX100, use a device that is within the rated current (5V 500mA).
*The threshold for overcurrent detection on the programmer side is 680mA.
If the power for the barcode reader is not supplied from the writer, or if a device other than a barcode reader such as a PLC is connected, a BCR CLEN ERR error may occur due to a potential difference between the GND of the device connected to the BCR terminal and the GND of the AF430/AFX100.
In such a case, use an RS-232C isolation converter to isolate the RS-232C signal.
Another issue that can occur is when you touch the programmer with a charged hand, which can cause static electricity to activate the overcurrent detection function, resulting in an error.
