1. Meaning of the Error
This error occurs when there is a communication or control failure between the
programmer main unit (AFX100 / AFX210) and the CAN probe hardware (PHX410).
This error may also be detected when there is no response from the target MCU.

2. Causes and Countermeasures

■ Cause 1: Connection failure or disconnection of the cable between the
programmer main unit and the probe hardware

Countermeasure:
- Disconnect the M12 cable between the programmer and the probe, and
  reconnect it securely.
- If you have a spare M12 cable, replace the cable to see if the symptom improves.
- Note: Bending the M12 cable sharply may cause the internal wiring to break.
  Please be careful when routing the cable.

■ Cause 2: Hardware failure

Countermeasure:
- A physical failure of the probe hardware (PHX410) or the programmer main unit
  (AFX100 / AFX210) is suspected.
- If you have spare equipment, individually replace the probe hardware and the
  programmer main unit to identify the location of the failure (isolate the cause).

■ Cause 3: Connection failure with the target

Countermeasure:
- Recheck the wiring on the jig side (for poor contact or disconnection) and the
  connection status to the target board.

■ Cause 4: Communication error due to the effect of common mode noise via the
AC line

Countermeasure:
- Attach a ground wire to the ground terminal of the PHX410 and ensure proper
  grounding.
- Insert a noise filter, such as a noise-cut transformer, into the AC line as a
  countermeasure.

■ Cause 5: Programmer setting or connection issue

Countermeasure:
- Check if the "Probe Select (Probe1 / Probe2)" setting in the software correctly
  matches the channel actually connected.
- Make sure that a serial communication probe (PHX400) is not mistakenly
  connected to the selected channel. Please connect the CAN communication
  probe (PHX410) correctly.
