1. Meaning of the Error
This error occurs when the "YDD file" (a data file containing security, option settings,
etc.) required for processing by the programmer is not correctly placed in the
YIM folder (current folder) on the SD card, or when there is a conflict (multiple files exist)
during the execution of device functions (such as E.P.R.).
*Note 1: Depending on the definition program, this error may be detected even
when multiple YDD files exist in the folder.

2. Causes and Countermeasures
■ Cause 1: No YDD file exists in the YIM folder
Situation: Although a YDD file is required for the target programming process,
no YDD file has been transferred or placed in the "YIM folder" on the SD card.
■ Cause 2: Multiple YDD files are placed in the YIM folder
Situation: In some target microcontroller packs (such as FRX830, FRX824, etc.),
this error (e.g., error code 1120) occurs not only when the YDD file does not exist,
but also when two or more YDD files are placed in the same YIM folder. This is because
the programmer cannot determine which file should be applied.
■ Cause 3: No YDD file is placed, but the programming setting is enabled
Situation: In some target microcontroller packs (such as FMX819, FSX820, etc.), this error
occurs when the programming settings for "TEST programming" or "UTEST block
programming" are set to "Enable" in the parameter settings (Parameter Table), even
though rewriting UCB or UTEST areas (processing that uses a YDD file) is not actually
performed.
■ Countermeasures (Avoidance Methods)
[Countermeasure A]
Confirm the number of YDD files in the YIM folder and place them appropriately Check
the contents of the currently selected "YIM folder (current folder)" on the programmer's
SD card using the remote control software (SWX600) etc., and take the following actions:
If there is no YDD file:
Add and transfer the correct YDD file created on the PC into the folder using SWX600.
If there are two or more YDD files:
Delete unnecessary YDD files using SWX600 so that only one YDD file is always placed
in the folder.
[Countermeasure B]
Set unnecessary programming settings to "Disable" (when not using a YDD file)
If rewriting of UCB or UTEST areas is not required (no YDD file is used) for this
programming session, change the related programming
settings to "Disable" under items such as "MCU Operation Mode" in the parameter
settings. By disabling the settings, you can avoid the error and perform normal flash
programming even if no YDD file is placed.
