1. Meaning of the Error
013E PROGRAM ERR (Manual Notation: ERR-NO.013E) occurs during CAN programming
via the UCOP protocol when an error status response is returned from the target MCU
during the status check following flash programming (transmission of the PROGRAM
command).
2. Causes and Corrective Actions
An incorrect Micom Pack that does not match the target MCU (ECU) is being used.
→ Verify that you are using the correct Micom Pack (parameter files, BTP files, etc.)
suitable for the target MCU.
An attempt was made to overwrite the flash memory without erasing it first.
→ If you are executing the "PROGRAM" command individually via Device Function,
try executing the "E.P.R" command (which includes erasure) to check if programming
completes successfully.
An attempt was made to reprogram a protected or write-prohibited region in the flash memory.
→ The target region may include areas that cannot be programmed due to security
settings. Exclude these areas from programming by adjusting the execution
address range.
The power supply voltage of the target (MCU) is unstable during erase or program
operations.
→ Review the power supply environment of the target to ensure there is no insufficient
power capacity or voltage drop.
The Write Control Program (BTP file) is inappropriate.
→ If the Write Control Program (WCP) was developed independently by the customer
or modified from our provided source code, it falls outside our support scope.
Please evaluate and verify the implementation under customer responsibility.
Defect in the device (MCU).
→ If the error occurs only on a specific target board, the MCU itself may be defective.
Check whether the same error occurs on another normal target board to isolate the
issue.
